Fine... I'll post these I just pulled off the camera.

(Actually, I almost passed out when I saw what has been hitting that feeder!) I can't wait until the season opens thumb

This pic was taken only 2.5 hours after I set the camera up!

If I hadn't seen these pics I would call anyone a liar that said these boys were playing under my feeder...

I have some more from this feeder here and I just put the camera out at a different feeder. Can't wait to see those.

This might be a pretty good season =)

Here is a pic for you all till Big Ed comes back with the big one! We don't get too big of ones here, so the 9 pt is pretty good for this area i guess.

WOOT!!!

Someone posted some pics! beer

Hey Plinker603, rack size is all luck and location! Taking a deer with a bow is the factor that makes any deer a 'trophy'! thumb

I'd stick an arrow in him. Cool

My only bow kill was a doe, and i was grateful for that.

Those are some incredible pictures! Thanks for posting them, and good luck on getting an "after" shot.

Ed, how old do you estimate those bucks to be? They look young in the face. Here, a deer that gets any sizeable rack would get to looking more rough and bull-like in the face. Maybe too far from the rut and their necks not swollen?

There are much better people here to ask about judging deer. Razzer

But I've always heard that slender necks and long looking legs mean a young buck. Seems like they fill out more as they mature making them look stout and short legged.

Does on the other hand, (from my limited expertise) get more graceful and slender as they age.

So that probably doesn't answer your question... I'd say they are 2... but don't get me to lying!
